Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR3 Can’t Read 16GB Hi-speed SD Card ?

I have Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 with 16 GB Hi-speed SD card. And, I took around 50 – 60 snaps. When I purchased another “Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR3” digital camera and inserted the same SD card in to its slot, the card successfully inserted and recognized. But in second moment, it showed error “Memory Card error” and the card needs format. When I removed the SD card and again inserted into Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2, the camera recognized the card while some images were missing. Those images are very important for me. Can somebody help to recover the missing photos?

Answer 1

Incompatibility issue of SD card in different digital cameras may be different. But here your issue is relating to format. Either your card is FTP or NTFS or the camera Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR3 having NTFS or FTP format. In both cases, camera doesn\'t recognize the card and data loss is possible. As well as, sometimes it has been obvious that before inserting or using the Hi-speed SD card needs format. On that situation, most of the users format the card in PC using USB card external reader while today\'s digital camera could format the card it\'s self. So, you should/need always format the card it\'s self into the camera.

Your issue may also lead due to improper insertion of the card, improper format in past, heavy scratch over the card, corrupt or damaged card, abnormal removal of the card and such. In case when you loose your photo from digital camera, today you don\'t need to be panic and straightly go for Digital Photo Picture Recovery. Picture Recovery tool is an ultimate solution to recover deleted photos and corrupt photos. So you may choose any photo recovery tool and can easily recover missing or accidental deleted photos on Panasonic digital camera.
