Olympus C-960 Zoom Showing ‘Card Full’ error message ?
I am using Olympus C-960 Zoom digital camera from last couple of years. It was still doing well and capturing nice images. But last night when I turn ON the camera, I got an error message as “Card Full”. I ignored it and made a few more attempts to access and view still images in the Smart Card. But every time got same results. But I have three separate Smart cards so I put in rest two cards. But the results were same in every attempt. Then I format the card and again put into the camera bus this time also got same results. Can you help me? What happened with my Camera and its card? Does my camera damaged or need to replace? Or, my issue can be fixed?
Answer 1
Olympus C-960 Zoom is a popular digital camera and mostly used by professional photographers and personal use. It is a perfect combination os style and photographic performance. It supports Smart card and store images securely. But in a few situation you may come across error messages like- Card error, power failure, virus hit, card removal while camera ON, doesn’t format the card before use, and many others.
But here you have mentioned that used three separate Smart cards and got the same results i.e. “Card full”. Before taking any further action, make sure your card is readable via PC or Mac. If yes, then bring or download Digital Photo Recovery tool and strongly scan your card and then recover photos. After scanning here your card should be readable via your Olympus C-960 Zoom digital camera.
Answer 2
Since this is happening with multiple cards, and after formatting, it suggest a problem with the camera. The likely culprit is the locking switch on its card reader.
